Smarter Health Care-Webinar zum nationalen Gesundheitsgesetz
Can a federal law cure what has plagued our healthcare system for years?
On June 25, 2025, Luca Crivelli moderated and discussed with:
- Stéfanie Monod (Unisanté: Co-Head of the Department of Epidemiology and Health Systems, author of the study on the relevance of a national health law)
- Laurent Kurth (Canton of Neuchâtel: former State Councillor)
Henri Bounameaux (Vice President of the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences, SAMW)
The webinar addressed key challenges within the current legal framework of the healthcare system, focusing in particular on specific care situations where the system reaches its limits. The discussion centered on the potential contribution of a national health law to resolve these deficiencies. Participants also examined the opportunities and risks of such a law from the perspective of various stakeholders. Finally, the feasibility of implementation and possible alternatives were discussed.
